Cancellation policy
pursuant to section 5 of the contract conditions of the standard DTV contract
5. Cancellation by the renter
The renter can cancel the contract before arrival by written declaration to the owner. The time the landlord receives the written cancellation is the time of cancellation.
If the guest cancels the rental contract, they must pay a flat fee compensation for the expenses already incurred by the owner and the lost profit in the following amounts:
Cancelling up to 45 days before beginning of rental period: 20% (at least 25 EURO)
Cancellation up to the 25th days before the beginning of the rental period: 50%
after that and for no-show 80%

The Austragshaus Rhön is located in the old town of Stockheim. Nearby you can reach a bakery, butcher, 3 restaurants and the hairdresser on foot. The Kneipp pool with children's play area is only 150 m away. Mellrichstadt and Ostheim v.d. Rhön are only 4 kms away with all shopping options, historic sights, museums, swimming pool, mini golf, etc.
Stockheim is located in the Streu Valley at the foot of the Bavarian Rhön. Hiking trails and cycling routes are nearly on the doorstep.
Getting there
Arrival preferred by car, parking right at the house. The nearest train station is located in Mellrichstadt, about 5 km away.

Host informationWe awakened the Austragshaus from it's sleeping beauty slumber from 2004 to 2008 with our blood, sweat and tears. Now it is a gem in Stockheim and surrounding area. The love of old buildings is also seen in the neighbouring main house from 1840.

Wir waren im Februar zu zweit eine Woche lang im Austragshaus und haben uns wunderbar erholt! Das Haus ist wirklich wunderschön und stimmig sowohl von außen als auch von innen, man merkt jedem Detail an, mit wie viel Sachverstand und Liebe dieses Gebäude von Herrn und Frau Röper saniert, renoviert und eingerichtet worden ist. Stockheim ist sehr beschaulich und die unmittelbare Umgebung bietet zahlreiche Wege für ausgiebige Spaziergänge mit dem Hund. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit vielen Supermärkten gibt es im vier Kilometer entfernten Mellrichstadt oder in der anderen Richtung in Ostheim. Die Rhön bietet viel Abwechslung und nach Erfurt und Weimar in Thüringen ist es mit dem Auto gerade mal eine Stunde zu fahren. Uns hat es im Austragshaus sehr gut gefallen, besser hätte die Woche wirklich nicht sein können...

Wir haben hier eine sehr schöne Zeit mit vielen Spaziergängen verlebt. Ein hübsches, gemütliches Haus, in dem wir mit Wein und Süßem willkommen geheißen wurden.
