Holiday destination
The Nikadel, the central square of the seaside resort De Koog, is very quickly accessible from the park, both on foot and by car. Even walking to the supermarket or back to your accommodation after dinner in Dorpsstraat is no problem at all.
Getting there
By car:
Coming from Utrecht towards Amsterdam, take the exit towards Zaanstad.
Then take the A7 towards Leeuwarden until the Den Oever exit.
From there to Den Helder, the ferry port is signposted.
On Texel:
From the ferry port, head north on Pontweg (N501). At roundabout 10, turn right and continue following the signs for De Waal. Just before leaving Den Burg again, turn right onto Waalderstraat. At the distinctive round glass building of OmnyAcc – on your left – make a sharp left onto Abbewaal. We are right at the end, until you can't go any further, on the round square to the left of Gamma.
