Holiday destination
The property is surrounded on three sides by fields. In a westward direction you have a beautiful view to Wolgast City, often you can watch fantastic sunsets. At the east side a guesthouse adjoins the property. Distance to the next city (Wolgast) is about 3 km. By car it takes you only 15 min to the seaside resorts Zinnowitz (6 km) or Trassenheide (5km).
By bicycle it takes you about half an hour to the next seaside resort Trassenheide.
Dog areas: By car you are in a few minutes at separated areas on the beach where dogs are allowed.
Getting there
If you go by car please enter the island on road B 111 passing through Wolgast City. Having passed the tamoil petrol station at the city limit carry on for about 800 m, then turn to the right and enter a small way (the right one from the both you see) that leads directly to Achterwiek house.

Als Teil einer Reisegruppe mit Hunden war ich bereits 2x im Haus Achterwiek zu Gast! Beide Male haben mich auch meine zwei Katzen begleitet.
Während wir also tagsüber mit den Hunden unterwegs sind, genießen die Miezen auf den sonnigen Plätzen an den bodentiefen Fenstern das Katzenkino in der Umgebung.
Und abends treffen wir uns in der unglaublich gemütlichen Ferienwohnung wieder zum kuscheligen Ausklang des Tages!
Die nächste Reise ist schon wieder in Planung und definitiv werden wir uns wieder in das gemachte Nest im Haus Achterwiek einquartieren!

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, eine nette kleine Unterkunft mit allem, was man für den Alltag so braucht, ein großes Grundstück, das Kinder und Vierbeiner zum Rumtollen einlädt, zur Verfügung gestellte Fahrräder machen Haus Achterwiek zum günstigen Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Insel. Wer allerdings direkt am Meer sein möchte, muss einige Kilometer mit dem Auto oder mit dem Rad einrechnen. Das Radwegenetz Usedoms ist übrigens hervorragend!
