Doornvogels is located at the edge of the forest, one of the most beautiful areas with houses that all have thatched roofs. It is about 200 m from the beach and 500 m from Nesserbos.
It is situated in the dunes between Nes and Buren (about 1.5 km away).
There is a bicycle rental service for a lovely tour through the dunes.
In Nes, you will find most of the shops and restaurants.
Getting there
You will travel from Holwerd by ferry which takes about 45 minutes. You can go to the house by car, bus, or taxi. It is also easily accessible on foot or by bicycle. Bicycle rental is available as well.
