The cozy, well-furnished holiday home is located in an absolutely quiet hillside position below the village of Brezzo di Bedero at the end of a private cul-de-sac with no through traffic. In Brezzo di Bedero, you will find the collegiate church of San Vittore from the 12th century, which is one of the most significant Romanesque buildings in the region. It's a good 15-minute walk to the village. The lake with swimming opportunities is also within a 10-minute walk. For many years, the music festival "Stagione Musicale della Canonica" has been taking place from July to September.
Just 5 km away from Brezzo is Luino, the largest town on the Lombard shore. Famous throughout the whole of Lake Maggiore is the centuries-old Wednesday market, which is one of the largest in Northern Italy. In Luino, you will find excellent shopping opportunities (Coop and Carrefour supermarkets with a great selection, open 7 days a week) as well as various restaurants and street cafes.
The lake and mountains offer a wide range of sports activities: fishing, golf, canoeing, climbing, cycling, swimming, sailing, diving, hiking, windsurfing.

Wir haben zum dritten Mal unsere Ferien in der Casa Donizetti verbracht, zwei Paare und unser Hundesenior. Wir hatten das komplette Anwesen wieder für uns alleine. Das Haus ist in allem perfekt, großzügig, sehr sauber, sehr hochwertig und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Sicht von der umlaufenden Terrasse auf den Lago bei Tag ist traumhaft, bei Nacht fasziniert das Lichterspiel auf der anderen Uferseite und ein phänomenaler Sternenhimmel. Ergänzt wird das absolute Wohlfühlambiente im Haus durch einen sicher eingezäunten Garten zum Entdecken und Flitzen für unseren Vierbeiner. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Danke, dass wir unsere Ferien auch dieses Jahr wieder in der Casa Donizetti verbringen durften. Wir können die Casa Donizetti uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Haus hat eine Hochwertige Ausstattung. Alles sehr gepflegt. Ruhige Umgebung. Sehr schöner Blick auf den See. Wir sind sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen wieder.
