The trails leading from the house are perfect for going on long hikes or demanding mountain tours, the golf course is only 3 kilometres away; the local outdoor swimming pool with heated pools and extensive sunbathing areas is a great place for those who love swimming and there is plenty to do for culture lovers, e.g. Richard Strauss Days, Garmisch Summer of Culture, Farchanter Farmers' Stage and much more; museum fans will also get their money's worth - local history museum, Linderhof Castle and Neuschwanstein, open-air museum Glenleiten, etc. The local clubs also host various events.

Holiday destination

The area is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. Hiking trails are right outside the front door. In the immediate vicinity there is a ski lift, toboggan run and cross-country ski trail. The heated outdoor swimming pool with beautiful sunbathing areas is just 10-minute walk away. It's only 800 metres to the train station and bus stop, from where you can easily reach Garmisch - Partenkirchen or Munich. Shops for daily needs can be reached in a few minutes.
