Holiday destination
The holiday apartment is located in the heart of Tuscany, just 10 km from San Gimignano. The old town of Certaldo is an insider tip with its medieval castle and many small restaurants. Siena, Florence, and Volterra can be reached in less than an hour. Perfectly suited for short and long walks through the olive groves and vineyards.
Getting there
Most navigation systems can easily find our holiday apartment using the address provided above, Via le Carrate 16, Gambassi Terme. If this is not the case (as is currently with Google Maps), please head towards Certaldo and from there towards Gambassi Terme. Once you reach the top of a long incline and are on the level ground, turn right after the glass recycling containers (sign: Fogneto), continue straight until you reach the 2nd house on the right side. Then you have arrived. A detailed arrival description will be sent with the rental contract.

Wir haben hier zwei wundervolle Wochen in diesem zauberhaften Domicil verbracht,
und uns bis auf die stechenden Freunde sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren sehr viel unterwegs. Mit Trenitalia besuchten wir Firenze, Siena, Pisa und Viareggio. Hier macht Zug fahren noch richtig Spass und ist auch nicht so teuer. Mit dem Auto ging es nach San Gimingnano, Volterra, Monterrogione, Colle Val di Elsa, Castellina im Chiantigebiet.
Die Wohnung hat eine traumhafte Lage und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in kürzester Zeit
zu erreichen. Ein Essenstipp Pizzeria Diana in Certaldo, sieht unscheinbar aus, aber da gibt es die beste Pizza zu unschlagbar günstigen Preisen.
Wir empfehlen die Ferienwohnung sehr gerne weiter.

Wir haben 12 wunderbare Tage in den charmanten Haus der Familie Hellstern verbracht. Wir waren sehr dankbar über die vielen Tipps, die Frau Hellstern uns zur Verfügung gestellt hat. So haben wir u. a. lecker gegessen, bestes Olivenöl gekauft und viele Ausflüge gemacht.
Die Lage des Hauses ist wunderbar: es liegt ruhig, trotzdem ist man mit dem Auto schnell in der Stadt Certaldo. Von der Stadt mit dem Zug in erreichbaren Nähe zu Florenz, Sienna...
Insgesamt: wir hätten es nicht besser haben können :). Von daher, wir empfehlen den Ferienwohnung sehr gerne weiter.
