Holiday destination
The holiday home is located on the edge of the quiet holiday park "Hoog Koog" in the south of the main seaside resort De Koog, in close proximity to forest, dunes, and sea.
From here, you can explore Texel in all directions. Well-signposted and developed cycling and hiking trails invite you to do so.
Directly opposite the park, there are riding stables, from which you can explore the surroundings on your own riding paths.
Also nearby is the adventure (wave) pool "Calluna" and the seal rehabilitation center "EcoMare".
In the seaside resort of De Koog, one kilometer away, there are two supermarkets, various cafes and restaurants, a disco, souvenir shops, and much more.
Getting there
By Car
The ferry port to Texel is located in Den Helder and is well signposted. Simply follow the signs for the ferry with the addition of Texel. The ferry departs hourly, on the half-hour from Den Helder and on the hour from Texel.
The ferry ticket is always valid for a round trip.

By Train / Plane
From Amsterdam CS (Central Station), take the train to Den Helder (travel time approximately 1.5h). From the station in Den Helder, line 33 takes you directly to the ferry ticket office. On the island, line 28 or the "Texelhopper" awaits you to take you safely to your destination.

In das gemütliche und bestens ausgestattete Ferienhaus Hoog Koog 15 nach langen Strandwanderungen und die Insel erkunden wieder heimzukehren, hat uns sehr gut getan.
Die fussläufige Nähe zur See durch den Wald und die Dühnen ist optimal.
Im kalten Dezember war die Beheizbarkeit des Bungalows problemlos.
Wir danken Herrn Husfeld für die Bereitstellung seiner gepflegten Ferienwohnung.

Wir waren zwei Woche auf Texel und haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt.
Der Parkplatz ist in unmittelbarer Nähe und jedes Haus hat einen eigenen Stellplatz.
Die Küche ist super ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt.
Alle Räume sind schön eingerichtet, nicht überladen.
Sieht absolut gepflegt und nicht verwohnt aus.
Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Insel zu erkunden.
Wer einen entspannten Urlaub in einem gepflegten Ferienhaus machen möchte ist hier genau richtig.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
