Unwinding and having fun on the law: Our guests may use the big lawn adjacent to the terrace, to simple enjoy the great outdoors, e.g. on a sunbed in the middle of the lawn or at the table at the very bad of the garden, to eat under the maple tree, to drink, to read, to have a chat, to meditate, to listen to the wildlife... On the lawn there is a double children's swing, and if needed, a double splash pool can be put up. It is so large that even adults can get refreshed in it. You are 10 min from the city of Trier (World Heritage site), 40 min from the small city of Saarburg, and 45 min from the city of Luxembourg; all of these offer you a wide range of sights and nice places. And: You are right in the middle of nature!
Holiday destination
Your own parking spot (yard) in front of the property and an in-house wallbox to fill up with solar power for E-cars,; Settlement with the hostess. Your own terrace with e-grill, parasol, and wooden furniture. The hiking trails start right after the large sunbathing lawn. You can spend hours enjoying this area above the Mosel River and above the city of Trier. Some of these trails are also excellent cycling routes, you can enjoy longer routes with a trekking bike. You can reach Trier city centre within 10 minutes by car.
Getting there
By car: from Trier town centre you are 4 km or a 10-minute drive away from the vacancy home. From the last bus stop in the valley up to the holiday home on the mountain you are a 2.2 km walk away.

Gott zum Gruß an diesem bevorstehenden Wochenende, in der Zeit vom 02.11.25 bis zum 09.11.2025 wählten wir ein denkmalgeschütztes Haus in der Nähe eines Weingutes mit Namen Avelsbach. Die Unterkunft war ein schmuckes gut eingerichtetes Häuschen ca. 4 km von Trier entfernt. Mitten in den Weinbergen und abseits der Großstadt und der Bundesstraße idyllisch gelegen. Gute gehobene Ausstattung und was uns wichtig war, sehr sauber! Direkt vor dem Haus sind einige gut zu erreichende Wanderwege und kurzläufig ein schönes Weingut mit Namen Gut Avelsbach. Trier als älteste Stadt Deutschland ist Geschmacksache , sicherlich einen Kurztrip wert. ( Basilika , Porta Nigra etc. ) Grüße nach einer herrlichen sonnigen Woche aus dem Ruhrgebiet

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft in wunderbarer Umgebung, umsorgt von einer wunderbaren Gastgeberin. Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig, dennoch ist Trier schnell (mit dem PKW jedenfalls) zu erreichen. Für unsere 5-Köpfige erweiterte Familie inkl. Kleinkind war es perfekt. Wir durften unser Stromauto zu einem überaus fairen Preis laden und auch sonst war Frau Ohlmeier freundlich, flexibel und zuvorkommend. Wärmste Empfehlung!
