Other recreational opportunities

Drawing courses and knife forging with the host. Great trails for cyclists and bikers. We know the most beautiful tours and will gladly advise you. The side valleys of the Moselle towards Hunsrück and the Eifel are fantastic for motorcyclists. Hiking in the valley and the Moselle heights right from the house. Multiple climbing areas nearaby!

Holiday destination

Endless options for hiking, cycling and motorcycles along either side of the Moselle and rides through the romantic side valleys high to the Hunsrück or to the Eifel. We'd be glad to help you plan your tour. The longest suspension bridge and many of the touristy Moselle cities such as Trier, Luxembourg, Cochem, Traben-Trarbach and particularly hour home town of Bernkastel-Kues are easy to reach by bus or by car. Interesting river trips with the Moselle ships.

Getting there

Via the Hunsrück: B50 to Bernkastel-Kues, from there 2 km down the Moselle to the village of Wehlen. from the Eifel via the A48/A1 to Wittlich, then federal road to the Moselle, at the Zeltlingen roundabout, 1st exit right towards Wehlen.

Wir haben eine schöne Woche an der Mosel verbracht. Unsere Ferienwohnung war wunderschön und es war alles vorhanden was man sich wünschen kann. Für das erste Frühstück war alles da und dafür möchte ich mich nochmals bedanken. Fa.Philipps war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Familie Philipps war einer unserer schönsten Aufenthalte in einer Ferienwohnung. Die Ausstattung ist grandios. Alles da, was man braucht. Für das erste Frühstück war alles im Kühlschrank vorhanden. Für unsere kleine haben wir ohne Probleme ein Babybett und einen Hochstuhl bekommen, sodass wir uns das Gepäck sparen konnten. Die Abende haben wir im zur FeWo gehörenden Garten verbracht und haben dort auf der Terrasse auf der zur Verfügung gestellten Grillplatte grillen können. Familie Philipps ist sehr nett und total zuvorkommend, es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden und werden den Aufenthalt in der FeWo Katharina auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
