Leogang is a great starting point for hiking, cycling, and mountain biking tours. Saalbach Hinterglemm, Leogang, Fieberbrunn, with 270 kilometers of slopes and over 50 lift facilities, is the largest ski area in Austria. Beautiful winter hiking trails and cross-country ski tracks are nearby.
Getting there
How to reach us:
Arrival from Germany:
Take the Munich-Salzburg motorway (A 8) to the Siegsdorf exit, then continue towards Inzell.
Keep going until you reach a junction marked with Lofer. At Steinpass, you'll cross the state border and continue to Lofer. From there, continue towards Saalfelden and on to Leogang.
You do not need a motorway vignette for this route.
Arrival from Eastern Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary:
Take the Westautobahn (Vienna-Salzburg A 1), exit at Wals Lofer, cross the border at Bad Reichenhall to the Steinpass Lofer border crossing, then head towards Saalfelden-Leogang.

Alles bestens! Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in Leogang bei Familie Pichler. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die toll ausgestattete Ferienwohnung macht das auch sehr einfach.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, gut ausgestattet mit allem was man in einem Urlaub braucht. Sehr nette Vermieter, die gerne auch Tips für Ausflüge geben.
