Other recreational opportunities

We provide snowshoe and toboggan rental free of charge for our guests in winter. You can reach a large number of leisure attractions within a 17 km radius, including the largest and most beautiful sauna complex in the Bavarian Forest, an adventure pool, open-air pools, a fitness studio, and much, much more. Glashütten, various museums, a shopping mall and a city park can also all be reached in 10-15 minutes.

Holiday destination

Our holiday home sits right on the edge of the forest with a far-reaching panoramic view. It's very easy to set off on hikes from the house to enjoy nature, mountains and forests. The location (in middle of the Bavarian Forest) means you can reach all the sights within a maximum of 1 hour. E.g. Passau (the City of Three Rivers), the Bayerwaldberge mountains, various museums... The nearby National Park provides fascinating experiences in the natural world for young and old without having to pay a penny. You can go on guided tours with National Park rangers, enjoy the forest play area, the animal-free area, the Wilderness House ("Haus zur Wildnis")...

Getting there

All of the motorways that come down from the northern part of Germany meet the A3 (from Frankfurt to Passau). Take this road when you reach Würzburg or Nuremberg and follow it until Deggendorf, your first main waypoint. From here, use the directions on the homepage.

...wir kommen auch in diesem Jahr. Was soll ich erzählen, ich kann einen Besuch bei Dengler`s immer wieder nur empfehlen. Kaum biste da, wird Urlaub und Entspannung wahr. Komfortabel und gemütliche Ferienwohnungen, ganz tolle Vermieter und immer eine Empfehlung für die Unternehmungen im Wald parat. Zum Tagesausklang ein Zusammensein im Stüberl rundet denTag ab. Eine Woche ....ein Sorglospaket wie es im Buche steht. Uns zieht es immer wieder hin, drum waren wir schon viele Male im "Ferienhaus Corinna" drin. Liebe Luise, lieber Günther.... wir sagen Danke immer wieder und wir sehen uns 2026 wieder.
