Holiday destination

Oberammergau is located in the Ammergau Alps. The royal castles Linderhof and Neuschwanstein are within easy reach, and so are numerous well-known churches and monasteries. The nature reserve offers tranquillity and relaxation, or you can hike in the surrounding mountains or take one of the mountain railways. A beautiful swimming pool, a toboggan run, ski slopes, cross-country skiing trails, bike paths and hiking trails invite you to visit and linger a while. Every holidaymaker can plan the most wonderful days of the year in accordance with their wishes and needs.

Getting there

By train: Munich - Murnau, take the local train to Oberammergau. By car: A95 towards Garmisch-Patenkirchen until you reach Oberau. In Oberau, make a turn towards Augsburg/Ettal. Follow the Bergstraße to Ettal, past the monastery with its enormous basilica and on to Oberammergau. Take the 2nd exit for Oberammergau and follow the road until you reach the AGIP petrol station; immediately after passing the petrol station, turn right, then take the 2nd street on the right, Franzosengasse; after 100 metres you'll see house number 5 on the left.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in dieser Ferienwohnung und können sie bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben immer ein offenes Ohr. Die Ferienwohnung war bei jedem Besuch immer sehr sauber! Besonders gut hat uns die ruhige Lage trotz der Nähe zum Ortskern gefallen. Die Ammer ist nur ein Katzensprung (auch für die Hunde) entfernt. Der Urlaub mit Hund ist in Oberammergau immer super entspannt. Eine Bitte vom Urlauber an andere Urlauber mit Hund, bitte macht die Hinterlassenschaften der Hunde doch bitte immer und überall weg. Nur so sind und bleiben wir Hundebesitzer in Oberammergau willkommen.
