Holiday destination
Pitsidia is located on the central south coast of Crete and is about 65 km, an hour drive away from Heraklion Airport. The village is ideally situated to explore the world famous area attractions, such as the ancient palace of Phaistos and the archaeological site of Gortyna and Agia Triada, the Monastery "Moni Odigitria" and of course the beautiful beaches of Matala, Red Beach, Komos , Agiofarago, Ag.Pavlos, Tripiti, Preveli, etc. also, the museum in Vori is quickly reached.You will find in the Village Minimarkets, Baker's Shop, Restaurants,Cafe, Butcher and Car/Bike Rental.
The wonderful sandy beach Komo is reached in ca. 15 minutes on foot or 3 min. by car.
On the village square, there are in summertime some events with live music. These evenings have a great atmosphere. Wonderful hiking possibilities are in the surrounding area and beautiful gorges.
Getting there
Your destination airport should be Heraklion as it is only one hour and15 minutes from Pitsidia and you can easily reach your holiday home by taxi, bus or car. I can also help you with a rental car reservation or order a local taxi to the airport so that you can relax while driving.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. Fanis the villa manager was so helpful. The villa was spacious, comfortable, calm and peaceful with sunset views over the ocean. We loved the pool and the village was only a short walk away with everything you needed. Matala was a 5 miniute drive. We had a very relaxing week here and made some fabulous memories.

Wir hatten das große Glück 17 wundervolle Tage in der Villa Efrossini zu verbringen. Es war einfach nur traumhaft! Die großzügige Unterkunft eignet sich hervorragend zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen. Die Ausstattung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt, die Sauberkeit und die stilvolle Einrichtung im ganzenHaus und v.a. das wunderschöne und weitläufige Außengelände mit den verschiedensten Sitzmöglickeiten, dem Pool und sensationellen Ausblicken aufs Meer und die Weite haben uns sehr überzeugt und den Abschied schwer gemacht. Auch die Gegend ist äußerst beeindruckend und wir haben bei vielen Ausflügen ins Umland tolle Entdeckungen machen können. Die Betreuung durch Bärbel und Fani vor Ort war sehr herzlich und komplikationslos. Vielen Dank dafür!
Wir träumen schon mal von unserem nächsten Urlaub in der Villa Efrossini
