With day trips you can visit all the beauties of Tuscany: Florence (50km), Arezzo (40km), Siena (100km), Cortona, Volterra, S. Gemignano, Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano and the vineyards of Chianti.

    Vacances parfaites Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances en famille à la Casa Fantone. La jolie maison était fraiche (malgré les températures extérieurs élevées), la cuisine fonctionnelle, la piscine rafraichissante, la vue incroyable (surtout pour les lève-tôt). Sur le terrain, Gianfranco a aménagé pleins de coins de jeu et de repos. En plus il nous a fait profiter des légumes de son potager, un délice. Merci aussi à Alberto pour son accueil agréable, sa réactivité et sa gentillesse. La vielle ville de Poppi (à 10min) vaut être visitée, château intéressant et petites commerces sympas dans des ruelles ombragées. On s'est régalé dans cette belle campagne toscane loin de la foule, mais Florence reste accessible en 1h30. C'est difficile de faire mieux. MERCI

    Wonderful family holiday Casa Fantone is an oasis! We are a family ranging in ages from eighteen months to 77 years. Something for everyone. Ten of us stayed with another four staying in Poppi. Fabulous views, quiet location and a real ‘get away from our busy lives’. Well equipped and spacious. Gianfranco and Alberto were the perfect hosts. Friendly and unobtrusive. We all had the best time. Lovely swimming pool looking out across the valley. Great barbecue area, children’s play area, table tennis and tabletop football. There is even a gym area! Everyone enjoyed the football/basketball court all fully enclosed! Casa Fantone is paradise itself! Everyone had the best time. We loved being remote! Occasional trips to the nearby village to stock up on supplies. Gelatos all round down in Ponte di Poppi (as recommended by Alberto) on the last evening - absolutely delicious! The only down side? Having to leave our temporary piece of heaven!
