In the summer, the cabin Wagrain is located right in the hiking area and can be reached by car up to 50 meters away. From the mountain station, it's just a few ski swings to the ski hut Wagrain. The homeowners assist with luggage transport - the luggage should be carried in backpacks and sports bags.
Swimming options: Lake Flachauwinkl (19 km); Reitecksee (15 km); Therme Amadé in Altenmarkt (14 km), Adventure Lake Eben (19 km); Water World Amade in Wagrain (10 km); Alpine outdoor pool with a 40 m long water slide in Radstadt (20 km).
Getting there
Wagrain is - both in summer and winter - thanks to its central location, an ideal starting point for active holidays in the Salzburg Sports World. The mountain lifts to Wagrain's two local mountains, Grafenberg and Griessenkareck, which are interconnected via the G-Link mountain lift, are also in operation during the summer season. Wagrain is located about 65 km south of Salzburg.
In winter, the ski hut can only be reached via the mountain lifts. In summer, the Wagrain hut is right in the hiking area and can be reached by car up to 50 m away.
