The holiday home is located on the first hill above the lake in the old village of Ghiffa. The neighborhood consists of beautiful old villas in large well-kept gardens. The place is about four kilometers from Verbania, the lively market town with numerous restaurants and a variety of shopping opportunities. About 20 kilometers away is Locarno with its diverse cultural offerings and restaurants. Within walking distance of the house you can reach well-signposted hiking trails through the beautiful chestnut forests.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Urlaubswoche in einem tollen Ferienhaus in dem es an nichts fehlte. O.k., bei fünf Liegen muss man sich arrangieren, wenn alle an den Pool wollen. Evtl. ein oder zwei Klappliegen zusätzlich wären nicht schlecht. Das soll aber nicht als Kritik, sondern als Anregung verstanden werden. Die Grundstückszufahrt ist, insbesondere bei einem größeren Auto, etwas knifflig, da sehr eng mit einem Knick. Am besten rückwärts reinfahren. Klappt aber mit etwas Übung. Ein besonderes Dankeschön gilt Remo, dem Gärtner, der sich um alles kümmerte und uns mit guten Infos versorgte.

Wir haben 5 wunderbare Tage als Großfamilie im Haus von Frau Karimi in Ghiffa verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr einladend und gemütlich eingerichtet, der Blick über den See einfach traumhaft. Über den Willkommensgruß haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Alles war sauber und gepflegt, wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Frau Karimi war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.
