During Covid, we do not ask for any downpayment and should you need to cancel due to some restrictions you will not loose any money and no further charges will be made!
Should you need to cancel,you will loose the downpayment, unless we can rent the cancelled period, in which case we can retransfer your downpayment or keep it for you next visit.

Then help us or our neighbours to pick olives or harvest vegetables or just watch us doing it.A short stroll into the country is highly recommended during the full moon! Sit by the pool at night with your favorite drink, switch off all the lights and enjoy the moonrise or set, awesome! On moonfree nights you can stargaze and explore the whole milkyway and don´t forget to make a wish with one of the many shooting stars.
Getting there
Travel:
Malaga is 1 1/2hrs and Almeira 2 hours away. Details of airlines offering cheap flights will be provided upon request. A car is highly recommended - pick up from airport can be arranged. New: Ryan Air now flies directly to Granada (1 hour from us) from London Luton and Liverpool. Stansted and Manchester now also offer flights to Granada, also Paris, Milan, Amsterdam and Geneva.

Host informationWhat can we tell you about us? We, that is Stefan and his wife Naomi and of course the lazy cats Blackey, Tamy and Felix. (He, Austrian, she, British; cats, Spanish) We are all very lucky bums and enjoy every day anew living in this wonderful, wonderful part of the world!
After many years of travelling the world, we happened upon this area and fell in love with it. First we rebuilt La Rueda and then bought another fallen down ruin in the Guajar valley, which we did up into La Cueva, a very special and cozy property.
Come and see for yourself, why we enjoy living here so much!

La Rueda ist eine kleine Oase der Ruhe und Erholung. Es ist wunderschön gelegen, abseits von Trubel und Hektik. Hier wird mit viel Arbeit und Liebe dem Gast eine traumhafte Zeit und Atmosphäre beschert, um die schönsten Tage im Jahr völlig entspannt genießen zu können. Das Haus bietet alles was benötigt wird, von einer gut ausgestatteten Küche über ein komfortables Bad, ein kleiner integrierter Tisch mit Hockern und ein gemütliches Doppelbett. Ein kleiner französischer Balkon rundet das Ambiente perfekt ab. Ein Kaminofen steht für die kälteren Tage bereit, wir haben diesen aber nicht benutzt. Selbst zubereitete, köstliche Marmelade und Olivenöl können erworben werden. Alles ist sehr sauber und liebevoll hergerichtet.
Über die Aussentreppe gelangt man im völlig grünen und blühenden Garten zum kleinen Pool mit 2 Liegestühlen und 2 Stühlen mit Tisch. Den Pool kann man über eingelassene Stufen im Wasser betreten um sich zu erfrischen und zu planschen je nach Lust und Laune ?.
Einige Stufen weiter unten befindet sich ein gemauerten Grill mit gefliester Eckbank großem Esstisch und Stühlen.
Die Aussicht ist egal von wo, wunderschön ins grüne Tal oder auf die Berge.
Wir haben uns bei Naomi & Stefan sehr sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen.

Ein kleines feines Ferienhaus für 2 Personen
Die Terrasse mit eigenem Pool laden ein, den Tag und die traumhafte Aussicht auf die Berge zu genießen
Bis Órgiva sind es nur 10min mit dem Auto, dort findet man Gastronomie, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und donnerstags einen tollen Wochenmarkt
Man wohnt in einer Umgebung mit Landwirtschaft, daher sollten einen der krähende Hahn oder der Traktor am Morgen nicht stören - dafür bekommt man ein Gefühl für das Leben der Leute vor Ort
Naomi und Stefan als Gastgeber wohnen gleich nebenan, sie sind sehr herzlich und helfen wo immer es nötig ist
