The centre of Bad Mitterndorf is just a few minutes away on foot.
You are in the 'Tauplitz' ski region. Ideal for skiing, snowboarding and touring. There are also numerous cross-country trails and winter hiking trails.
The Aldiana Grimming thermal bath to relax and the mighty Kulm ski flying hill are not far away.
Getting there
From the west:
via Bad Ischl - Bad Goisern - via the Pötschenpass - Altaussee - Bad Aussee - Pichl - Kainisch - Obersdorf - then turn left at the AVANTI petrol station, left again towards Bad Mitterndorf centre (Billa Markt)
After 100 metres on the right is a shop with three flagpoles (painting ski rental Pürcher). Meeting point
From the east:
Direction Liezen or Schladming, intersection Trautenfels (Schelltankstelle) turn in the direction of Tauplitz - Krungl - Bad Mitterndorf.
Take the B145 bypass until after Bad Mitterndorf. Turn right at the last intersection (Billa Markt) and then immediately left.

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer ruhigen Lage und ist sehr geräumig. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Nette Begrüßung. Die Umgebung ist ein Traum, sehr vielfältig was das wandern angeht. Hier ist für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich von Frau Pürcher sen. empfangen.
Es war sehr kalt und da die Heizung nicht ansprang, schickte sie uns noch am Sonntag
einen Installateur, der das reparierte.
Unser Hund fühlte sich im Garten pudelwohl, obwohl er ein Shih tzu ist. Das einige kleine Manko, wenn man einen neugierigen Hund hat, ist, dass es keine Gartentür zum Nachbargarten gibt.
Frau Pürcher sen. wohnt nebenan und ist immer da, wenn man Hilfe braucht. So eine tolle Gastfreundschaft haben wir eigentlich noch nirgends erlebt.
Auch die Umgebung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Man gelangt leicht zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung. Auch die Wanderwege sind sehr schön.
Herzlichen Dank nochmals für diesen schönen Urlaub.
