L'Aione is located between Cecina and Volterra, on a typical Tuscan hillside, in the midst of vineyards and olive groves on about 5 ha. The fascinating landscape invites you to go strolling, hiking, jogging and cycling, and it offers relaxation and variety. Many interesting villages and well-kept, mediaeval towns promise unforgettable excursions. Volterra, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa, Siena, Bolgheri, all of these and many other famous, places worth visiting are within a comfortable distance for memorable daytrips.
But the sea with its beautiful sand beaches and numerous, good seafood restaurants is only 25 km away.
Getting there
Highway Genua-Livorno-Cecine, then towards Volterrauntil Ponteginori. After the village, the road forks left towards Montecatini Val di Cecina.
