Other recreational opportunities
A particular highlight in our area are the three via ferratas near Mayrhofen. The hiking trails along the Ziller Promenade and in the forest are also very popular.
Holiday destination
Our house is located right in the center of Schwendau, a small village just before Mayrhofen, with a nice lawn where you can enjoy the quiet location.
The ski bus stop to the nearby Horbergbahn is next to the house. The Horbergbahn, which takes you to the Zillertal 3000 ski area, is only a 2-3 minute drive (about 800m) away.
Getting there
Exit Zillertal on the A12, along the Zillertal federal road towards Mayrhofen until you reach the Hippach intersection, turn right at the traffic light.
Straight ahead, turn left at the Raiffeisenbank until you reach the three linden trees. At this intersection, turn right and follow the road until you come to the next major intersection. Continue straight ahead and the first house on the left side is ours. You are already in our parking lot. (House number Dorf 125- Haus ST. Hubertus)

wir sind inzwischen zum 3.Mal hier und werden noch öfter kommen. Die Wohnung bietet für 2 Personen alles, was man zum Leben benötigt. Die Wirtsleute sind extrem nett und stellen kleine Fehler, die aufgedeckt werden, direkt ab. Dadurch, dass die Wohnung im Tal liegt, kann man Ausflüge direkt starten ohne erst von Bergunterkünften ins Tal zu fahren. Im Winter fährt der Skibus in 2 Gehminuten Entfernung. Wir kommen gern wieder.
