'Il Granaio' is pleasantly positioned amidst fields of sunflowers, wheat and rye, pine trees, hills and the Mediterranean Sea.
The famous Uccellina Natural Park is only 15 km away; a vast, protected, breeding place for birds of passage at only 5 km. Everything can easily be reached by bicycle. For those who love culture and history, Vetulonia and Roselle are places famous for their Etruscan tombs and excavations.
Mediaeval villages like Montepescali, Buriano and Sticciano are nearby and absolutely worth visiting. The beach is pure white sand. The clear sea water has currently been rated by the authorities as excellent. (2007)
Getting there
Coming from the north, South or East, take exit Grosseto Nord. Proceed till a t-split and turn right for Castiglione d. P. After 3 km, turn left towards Castiglione d. P. At the end turn left at the t-split. After 500 m. turn right: Strada Chiocciolaia. After 2 km left hand: "Il Granaio".

Wir sind gerade wieder zurück in der kalten Heimat und sind immer noch verzaubert von der herrlichen Landschaft der Maremma und unserer hervorragenden Unterkunft. Die Ferienwohnung ist zweckmäßig rustikal eingerichtet. Sie hatte alles zu bieten, was wir brauchten. Bei den sehr heißen Temperaturen war der Pool unser abendliches Highlight.
Unsere Gastgeber waren freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder. Vielen Dank nochmal an Dorreth und Fernando für die Gastfreundschaft

Die kleine Ferienanlage mit Pool war für uns als Familie mit 2 Kindern (9,12) perfekt. Die Wohnungen sind sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und Dank Klimaanlage konnten wir auch im Hochsommer gut schlafen. Prima Lage: Strände, Berge, Stadt, Dörfer und Restaurants sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Und die Gastgeber sind äußerst freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
