The Almgut horse farm is quietly located in the Fuschlsee region of the Salzburg countryside and is ideal for families. The Felsenbad outdoor pool in Faistenau can be reached within a few minutes on foot, while Lake Hintersee is approximately 1 km away. Excursion destinations such as Salzburg, Hallein, St. Gilgen, St. Wolfgang, Bad Ischl and Hallstatt in the Salzkammergut region are easily accessible. In winter, well‑maintained cross‑country ski trails and ski lifts in Faistenau offer excellent opportunities for winter sports.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit bei Familie Auer in Faistenau auf dem Pferdehof verbracht . Unser erster Urlaub mit unserem 9 Monate alten Baby, und es hätte nicht schöner sein können. Schon bei der Ankunft haben wir uns sofort willkommen und bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, gerade auch mit Kind. Man merkt, wie viel Herzblut die Familie in ihren Hof und die Gastfreundschaft steckt. Besonders schön war die entspannte Atmosphäre: unser Baby hatte überall Platz zum Krabbeln, wir konnten die Tiere hautnah erleben und gleichzeitig die Ruhe der Natur genießen. Für uns war es die perfekte Mischung aus Erholung, Familienzeit und Bauernhof-Abenteuer. Wir können diesen besonderen Ort von Herzen empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.
