Other recreational opportunities
The Gerlossteinbahn cable car takes you to a wonderful hiking area. The fixed-rope climbing route on the Gerlosstein mountain is a challenge, but you can also hike around it. The Skyliner zipline is not for the faint of heart, but it's a really special experience.
Holiday destination
Hainzenberg is located 4km above Zell am Ziller. We have the Gerlossteinbahn cable car on our doorstep that takes you up to our local mountain for skiing and tobogganing on the 7km-long toboggan run that's also illuminated at night.
There are lots of places to hike as well as leisurely walks to the "Gänsanger" Kneipp treatment spa where you can relax and the kids can play on a magnificent play area. The round-trip hiking route tells you a great deal about our community.
The Gold Mine Exhibition Centre is naturally also worth a visit and can be reached from our place on foot in just a few minutes.
Getting there
Leave the A12 motorway at Wiesing in the direction of the Zillertal Valley then drive onto Zell am Zillen in the direction of Gerlosspass-Hainzenberg. Then continue down the B165 for about 4km until you reach the district of Dörfl. When you arrive there, turn left 200 meters before the Gerlossteinbahn cable car and drive towards the village. You'll find the Ranerhof on the right-hand side. You'll see a sign bearing the name of the farm in front of the house.
