Holiday destination
In Jochberg you find many shops and nice restaurants; for gourmets especially the "Giggling-Stube" in Aurach and the famous "Stanglwirt" in Going, the favourite restaurant of Franz Beckenbauer.
For a day-trip are the cities of St. Johann, Kufstein, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Munich perfekt. The next glacier-ski-area is Kaprun (30 minutes away).
For shopping-fans is of course kitzbuehel great. Very nice for a vacation-day are the lakes in Reith, Kitz and Uttendorf, where you can swim with great mountain-views.
Getting there
From Stuttgart or Munich direction Kiefersfelden (boarder to austria), you live the autobahn in Kufstein-Süd (don't pay "maut", it's free), direction St. Johann/Kitzbühel.
In Kitz direction "Pass Thurn", after 9 km Jochberg. Behind the only petrol-station turn right into Neuhausfeld, Nr. 3

Schade ... Häuschen schön, aber leider wurde nicht zugehört, geschweige verstanden. Der Herr war sehr von sich vereinnahmt und verbohrt. Kein guter Service
