Cancellation policy
If tenant cancels within 24 hours of booking, tenant is entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
If cancelled up to the 42nd day before the booked arrival date, the cancellation fee is 30% of the rent
For cancellations from the 42nd to the 28th day before the booked arrival, the cancellation fee is 60% of the rent.
If cancelled from the 28th day before the booked arrival date, the cancellation fee is 90% of the rent.
If cancelled on the booked arrival date or later, the cancellation fee is 100% of the rent.

Holiday destination
Together with 't Roegwold, the Schildmeer forms a diverse nature reserve. The area is characterized by a variety of open water, grassland, marshes, rugged nature, tranquility, and expansive views. A large part of the area is grazed by Hereford cattle, Groninger Blaarkop cattle, and sheep. Thanks to the extensive network of cycling and walking paths, you can easily see and experience nature and immerse yourself in it. For example, on a hike along the Knuppelpad, a 750-meter-long wooden walkway that leads across the 't Roegwold moor. The view is different in every season, so you can take the most beautiful photos here.
Getting there
The chalet is located at campsite De Otter, Roegeweg 9 in Steendam. The key is in the key box next to the front door. We will send you the code for the key box at least one day before your arrival, as well as the password for the Wi-Fi. You can park your car at the chalet.
