Saint-Tropez is a coastal town on the French Riviera in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France. Long popular with artists, the town attracted the international jet set in the 1960s and is still known for its beaches and nightlife. The cobblestone streets of the La Ponche district recall its past as a fishing village, although today there are more yachts than fishing boats in the Vieux Port.
Getting there
You'll likely arrive via the A8/E80 ("La Provençale"). At Le Muy, exit the motorway via the D125 and D25
to St. Maxime, then take the D559 towards St. Tropez until you reach
a particularly large, prominent roundabout (La Foux). From there, follow the signs.
