Want to get out and about? You definitely should. As the villa is located in the Beskydy, it is perfect for nature lovers. Visit several lookouts including the one in Vartovna or Hrad Roznovsky. You can also go hiking on Mount Smrk or Pustevy, located at an altitude of about 1,200 metres. Large rock formations are also well worth visiting. At the Certovy Skaly, also called Devil's Rocks, you can do some great hiking.
In winter, skiing areas are nearby. Within a radius of 15 km you have Karolinka, Solan, Velke Karlovice, Novy Hrozenkov and Raliska. Here both the beginner and the more advanced can have a great time. There are also options for cross-country skiing. If you've never done that before, it's definitely recommended. You go through the snow and mountains in a completely different way which is really enjoyable.
