Holiday destination

Lake Como offers some of the most striking urban, landscape and architectural gems of the entire Italian peninsula. Among these treasures stands Bellagio, "The pearl of the Lario", a village of just over 3000 inhabitants on the northern end of the Larian Triangle, in which the two branches of the Lake are divided. Among the most fascinating aspects of this village there are undoubtedly its charming villas, famous all over the world for their splendor and their manicured gardens. To mention some of them, Villa Melzi boasts many works of art and 18 km of paths in its garden, and Villa Serbelloni, today a conference center of the Rockefeller Foundation, features a wonderful garden as well. The old town, with its numerous shops located along narrow streets with steps, passages and arcades, is renowned all over the world and attracts thousands of tourists every year. The territory of Bellagio is vast and varied, you can visit the different lake hamlets such as Borgo di Bellagio, Loppia, San Giovanni and Pescallo, up to the top of Monte San Primo, reachable with a dense network of paths and itineraries for lovers of trekking and nature. Finally, Bellagio is well connected by boat to nearby villages such as Varenna, Lenno, Bellano, Menaggio, Tremezzo and Como. The apartment is 700 m from the bus station and 77 km from Orio al Serio airport.

Die Wohnung sieht genau so aus, wie auf den Bildern. Bis auf den Ausblick: Der ist so spektakulär, dass ihn Bilder nicht einfangen können. Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlte an nichts. Von Kapseln für die Kaffeemaschine, diverse Frühstückszutaten, bis hin zu einem Willkommens-Körbchen mit Nudeln, Nudelsauce und einer Flasche Rotwein. Super für unseren ersten Abend. Die Vermieter Barbara und Carlo sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie wohnen in der Nachbarschaft und sind so gleich zur Stelle, wenn man sie mal braucht. Supermarkt ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. Sehr ruhige Lage. Die Straßen rund um den See und auch in Nesso sind teils sehr eng, für geübte Fahrer jedoch machbar (max. Breite für die Zufahrt zur Wohnung 2,20m). Der abgeschlossene Parkplatz ist ausreichend groß.

Barbara and her father Carlo are absolute gems and made our time in nesso so lovely! The place is spotless with stunning views and very thoughtful welcome basket. Barbara arranged a pickup from her father (Carlo) who helped us get into the house with the warmest welcome and biggest smile. 10/10, would highly recommend!
