L'ARIETE is set amidst the Umbrian hills, in between the quiet and picturesque medieval hamlet of Montone and the vibrant Umbrian capital Perugia, just across the border to Tuscany and the Marche. Montone, voted one of Italy´s most beautiful medieval villages, is just a 5 min drive up the hill and offers good infrastructure for daily needs - grocery, bakery & pharmacy, post office & bank, a couple of restaurants & bars. Perugia, full of history, art, shops and typical Restaurants, can be reached in just 25 min. Day excursions will get you to most of Central Italy´s famous places: The world heritage site of Assisi and Arezzo (45 min), the impressive architecture of Orvieto and Spoleto (1 h), the breathtaking beauty of Florence (1.5 h).

The Countryhouse is easy to reach, just half an hour away from Perugia with its international airport, or 1,5 hours to Florence.

Ich habe Anfang Juli hier übernachtet und die beste Zeit gehabt! Perfekter Ort, um sich zu entspannen und Umbrien zu erkunden. Montone hat alles, was man braucht, und einige der besten Restaurants, ein bisschen ein Aufstieg, aber es lohnt sich! Der Pool ist fantastisch und die Apartments haben alles, was man benötigt. Vielen Dank, Andreas und Martina, ich bin mir sicher, dass wir zurückkommen werden :)
