Ideal place for a holiday between lake and mountain, in a very quiet area. The cottage lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The way from Peglio to Bodone (6 km) is a rural asphalted road (toll road € 1,00/day/car), but it is a mountains Street, bend road and with bends and single carriageway.
The surrounding area of naturalistic interest is ideal for walking, nature and hikers lovers, mushrooms hunters, fond of mountain bike, etc.
The closer beaches are located in Gravedona, 12 km distant (20 minutes drive).
Getting there
From Gravedona take the street direction Peglio and from here the mountain way to Bodone. The way from Peglio to Bodone (6 km) is a rural asphalted road, but it is a mountains Street, bend road and with bends and single carriageway.

Zunächst wollten wir ein Haus direkt am See buchen, doch dann haben wir uns für das Chalet Monica entschieden. Das war eine sehr gute Entscheidung. In dem Haus fehlt es an nichts, das Doppelbett war groß und hat sehr bequeme Matratzen. Wir waren mit unserem Hund dort und sind begeistert. Roberta hat uns freundlich empfangen und direkt erwischte uns der herrliche Ausblick, den wir nun 2 Wochen lang genießen konnten. Allein die Ruhe, das Kuhglockenläuten und der absolut liebe Dorfhund Pacco haben uns 2 unbeschreibliche Wochen Urlaub beschert in denen wir uns einfach nur erholen konnten. Die Wanderwege waren einzigartig und der immer währende Blick auf dem See umwerfend. Die beschwerliche Straße hinauf zum Chalet ist es allemal wert. Tiefergelegte Autos sind hier besser nicht unterwegs. Wir kommen wieder.
