Cancellation policy
The cancellation policies listed below apply in normal times, but we are very keen to ensure that our guests who have to cancel due to circumstances beyond their control do not incur financial loss. Last summer, due to the special situation, we gave all our guests the opportunity to rebook free of charge, regardless of the cancellation date. Should the coronavirus crisis continue, this approach will be adopted this year as well.
Cancellation by the tenant
If the cancellation is made up to one calendar month before the start of the rental period, the deposit remains due.
If cancellation occurs after this date, the total amount (excluding deposit) is due unless a new tenant can be found for the rental period or part of it. In the latter case, 10% of the rental amount remains due for the relevant part of the rental period, regardless of the time of cancellation.

Breskens is located in the south of the Netherlands in the province of Zeeland and at the westernmost point of the Westerschelde.
The holiday home itself is just a few minutes' walk from the endless beach, one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands.
Breskens (approx. 4500 inhabitants) has always been a fishing village. Therefore, a distinctive feature is the fishing harbor with a fish market (for buying or tasting). Breskens is the optimal starting point for all kinds of activities, thanks (but not only!) to the ferry to Vlissingen.

Abbiamo trascorso una bella vacanza in questa casa, accogliente e in una posizione comoda per raggiungere il centro del paese. I proprietari sono stati davvero gentili e sempre disponibili, cosa che abbiamo apprezzato molto._x000D_
La casa si trova vicino alla strada principale, quindi in alcuni momenti della giornata si sente un po’ di rumore di auto, trattori e moto.._x000D_
Il pagamento è stato richiesto in contanti, cosa un po’ insolita ormai, ma per il resto tutto è andato bene._x000D_
Un piccolo suggerimento: sarebbe utile trovare in casa qualche condimento di base e una macchina del caffè o moka, soprattutto considerando che i supermercati della zona non sono sempre aperti._x000D_
Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene e portiamo con noi un bel ricordo del soggiorno e della gentilezza dei proprietari.

Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Woche in diesem gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus: sauber, alles vorhanden, was man braucht und nette Vermieter - was will man mehr? Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!
