Situated on the Costa de la Luz - the coast of light - this small town with the holiday regions La Barrosa and Novo Sancti Petri convinces among others with a total of 8 km of finest sandy beaches, 5 TOP golf courses, some horse farms and many other leisure and cultural offers.
The location is ideal for (day) trips in the surrounding area:
Cadiz (30 km) as well as the Bahia de Cadiz; Jerez de la Frontera (50 km) with its traditional sherry distilleries and the royal riding school; Sevilla (130 km), the capital of Andalusia with its historic old town. The white villages of Medina Sedonia, Conil de la Frontera and Vejer de la Frontera invite you to stroll and visit, as do the more distant attractive destinations such as Ronda (120 km), Gibraltar (110 km), Cordoba (270 km), Malaga (240 km) or Granda with the world-famous Alhambra (340 km).
Holiday destination
Casa O'Neill is located on the outskirts of Chiclana de la Frontera in a typical rural settlement where many Spaniards (as well as some Germans and English) live all year round or own weekend and holiday homes.
We strongly recommend renting a car if you are not travelling with your own car.
In the immediate vicinity (approx. 5 minutes by car) there are several restaurants/ventas, a small supermarket and a pharmacy (Farmacia). Several big supermarkets (Mercadona, Lidl, Supersol) are reachable in 15 minutes.
In only a few minutes drive you reach the motorway A48, the city centre of Chilana is about 5 km away, the long and excellent sandy beaches of Novo Sancti Petri and La Barrosa about 10 km.

Wir haben dort im August 10 Tage verbracht, und ich kann nur sagen, dass es der PERFEKTE Urlaub war, voller Ruhe, Frieden und Gelassenheit. Das Haus verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich in einem Ferienhaus wünschen kann. Es ist sehr geräumig, mit einer offenen Küche, bequemen Ledersofas, einem 50-Zoll-Fernseher mit Stereoanlage und Lautsprechern, Satellitenfernsehen und WLAN. 3 voll ausgestattete Schlafzimmer (Einbauschränke, Kommode, Klimaanlage usw.), 3 Badezimmer, eine geräumige Veranda mit einem Sofa, einem Kassettenrekorder, Lautsprechern, Hockern, einer Bar, 2 Grillmöglichkeiten (Holzkohle und Gas) sowie einem Tisch und 6 Stühlen. Der Pool ist wunderbar, mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen, idealer Temperatur, sehr sauber und nachts beleuchtet. Das Grundstück ist sehr groß und bietet Platz für 3 oder mehr Autos neben der Veranda. Dahinter befindet sich ein Garten mit einer Sonnenterrasse und einer Wäscheleine. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht; man muss nur Lebensmittel, Getränke und Toilettenartikel mitbringen. Und was die Eigentümer, Catrin und Andre, betrifft, kann ich nur sagen, dass sie uns EXQUISIT behandelt haben. Sie sind sehr freundlich, höflich und aufmerksam auf Details, und wir werden nächstes Jahr zurückkehren. VIELEN DANK FÜR ALLES, von ganzem Herzen.
