The Holiday house

Each house has a living area of a little more than 50 m² containing the anteroom, kitchen block, generous dining area, living area with extendible sofa and TV, a big bedroom with double bed, very well equipped bathroom with tub and separate shower, and the toilet.

The terrace offers a breathtaking view of the wooded mountains, farms and meadows.

An efficient, environment-friendly heat pump takes care of the underfloor heating as well as hot water. In addition, a beautiful oven with fireplace sits next to the living area.

The parking area for 2 cars between the two houses for is roofed over. Beyond is the common boxroom and the washing machine. On the rear side of the house is the sheltered common barbecue site with afternoon sun.

Our south-east terraces, roofed over with glass, offer a breathtaking view, and the barbecue garden with rustic benches in the evening sun are spacious enough for families and groups up to 8 persons who booked both houses - on the other hand, each party may retire to their own house whenever required!

Holiday destination Hochschwabgebiet, Steiermark

Tis a small market town of about 1600 inhabitants; a down-to-earth place with rural structures and a few small businesses and workshops, a grown and active tradition, altogether not really a tourist centre.

Our guests join the locals’ life and feel fine. Especially in the culinary sense, because good food and drink is one of their main pleasures, as demonstrate the 3 restaurants/inns and one excellent coffee shop in walking distance. Shops, banks and the wellness temple are 10 minutes from our houses.

Our holiday home in Turnau is the ideal „base camp“ for hikers and bikers. Check our Website for packages for active winter sports as well as "Hibernating"!
