Cancellation policy
Cancellation and Early Termination
(1) If the tenant cancels (terminates) the contract before the start of the rental period without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract under the same conditions, the following proportional rental fees (excluding final cleaning) are to be paid as compensation, taking into account the saved expenses, provided that re-renting is not possible:
Cancellation
- up to 49 days before the start of the rental period 10% of the rental price
- up to 35 days before the start of the rental period 30% of the rental price
- up to 21 days before the start of the rental period 60% of the rental price
- up to 14 days before the start of the rental period 90% of the rental price
- otherwise (later than 14 days before the start of the rental period) 100% of the rental price
Nevertheless, the landlord will attempt to re-rent the property
(2) If the tenant terminates their stay early, they are still obligated to pay the full rental price
(4) A cancellation or termination can only be made in writing (e.g., via email).
The decisive factor is the date the landlord receives the notification
The above conditions are taken from a sample rental contract for holiday apartments. In the 10 years that we have been renting out the house, we have never had to charge cancellation fees, and we always strive to re-rent the house immediately. We have always been successful in doing so.

The expansive property, covering around 3000 m², is terraced and secluded by vegetation on all sides. It is situated in absolute tranquility and idyllically within a nature reserve above Tolscolano-Maderno on the western shore of Lake Garda. Dreamy sunny and shaded spots with fantastic views of the lake and mountains invite relaxation throughout the entire property.
You can reach the town center and the lake within a 10-15 minute drive (5 km).

Host informationWe took over the wonderful property from our father Dr. Simon Glückert 10 years ago to keep and preserve it in the family.
The rental income is used 100% for the maintenance and continuous renovation of the house and outdoor facilities.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Casa Glückert. Wir waren 2 Familien mit insgesamt 8 Personen. Das Haus befindet sich in Hanglage mit Blick auf den Gardasee. Perfekt zum Entspannen und Erholen. Gute Ausgangslage für Wandern und Biketouren. Haus und Anlage sind super ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst. Sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter.

Die Ferienunterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert.
Der Vermieter ist ein super Kommunikationspartner. Schnelle Antwort, freundlich im Ton und immer an den Interessen der Gäste orientiert. Perfekt!
Die Anlage ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Im Haus und auch im Außenbereich gibt es keine Überholungs- oder erneuerungsbedürftigen Bereiche. Highlights sind neben dem tollen Pool (durchgängig ca. 1,80 tief) und dem Garten mit Grill auch der großzügige Wohn-/Essbereich.
Die Anfahrt ist eventuell herausfordernd, geht sie doch über nicht asphaltierte und recht schmale Wege. Wir hatten aber weder mit unserem Mittelklasse SUV noch mit einem langen Kombi (5 Meter) Schwierigkeiten und waren vom Vermieter bestens vorbereitet.
Die Lage oberhalb des Gardasees und die entsprechende Aussicht sind herrlich!
