The immediate vicinity offers many options, including a walk around Lake Stieger, a hike along the 500 km of trails, or exploring the many other nearby day trip destinations that are within easy reach.
The Harzdrenalin company in Wendefurth, 15 km away, is known for offering wall-running on the dam wall. This, along with the double-rope slide over the precipice of the dam and the world's longest suspension bridge of its kind are sure to make your stay unforgettable.

Die Unterkunft lag in einer ruhigen Umgebung und war für 6 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder ausreichend mit allem ausgestattet. Von den vielen Schlafmöglichkeiten über 2 schöne Bäder und einen großen Wohn-/Küchenbereich war Platz für alle.
Der kleine Spielplatz war bei den Kleinsten sehr beliebt und der Grillplatz wurde von uns auch gern genutzt.
Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter.
