Far from the hustle and bustle and yet close to all the action: a 'good morning' from the singing birds, a 'good night' from the last lights on the mountaintops, thrilling dreams of impressive hikes, and perhaps a little of our home-made tipple. "We are the most active valley in the world" - you can do everything here, apart from going swimming in salt water (at least not this year!)
Getting there
By car: Via motorway A12 Inntal motorway - Zillertal exit, federal highway B169 to Ramsau. Take a turn at the traffic lights, towards Hippach to Zillertaler Höhenstrasse - Schwendberg 324.
By train: Jenbach train station (ÖBB), change to the Zillertalbahn or take the bus to Hippach,
bus to Schwendberg - Treuting stop.
By air: Innsbruck airport (65 km) or Munich (190 km) then airport taxi to Hippach-Schwendberg 324.
