Holiday destination
Due to its proximity to the Stubai Glacier, Neustift is the most famous and most visited place in the valley. Approximately 4 km beyond Fulpmes begins the extensive municipal area of Neustift, which extends into the glacier regions in both the Unterberg and Oberberg valleys. The highest point, at 3,505 meters, is the Zuckerhütl, located directly on the border with Italy in the main ridge of the Stubai Alps.
