Holiday destination

In the arguably most beautiful high mountain valley of the Eastern Alps, nestled within the Hohe Tauern National Park, lies Virgen in the Virgental/East Tyrol. Approximately 100 meters above Virgen, in Mellitz, at about 1,300 meters altitude, the farmhouse sits quietly at the edge of the forest. There are swimming facilities in Virgen and Matrei. In winter, it is about 7 km to the new ski area Kals-Matrei (GroÃŸglockner).
