As the oldest village, Brixen has given its name to the valley. In summer, Brixen im Thale is the starting point for wonderful extensive hikes and mountain bike tours in the side valleys of the Brixen Valley or to one of the 6 adventure worlds - pure nature! In winter, skiers get their money's worth here. You have the choice between two cable cars to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, which is Austria's second largest connected ski area with about 100 lifts and 290 kilometres of pistes. Since 2008 there has been a direct 8-person gondola lift connection to the Choralpe in the direction of Westendorf. From there, you can connect to the Kirchberg-Kitzbühel ski area via the K-West run.
Getting there
Arrival by train: Brixen im Thale railway station is just opposite our house. Arrival by car via the Inntal motorway, exit Wörgl-Ost, then just under 20 kilometres in the direction of Kitzbühel

Wir waren für einen Gruppenskiurlaub im Alten Hof von Josephine und Wolfgang und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Küche und Kaminzimmer sind sehr urig und gemütlich. Besonders die Kücheninsel lädt dazu ein, gesellig und gemeinschaftlich zu kochen oder mit einem Getränk nach dem Skitag anzustoßen. Die Doppelzimmer sind großzügig geschnitten und haben zweimal ein abgeschlossenes Bad, lediglich das Viererzimmer ist etwas klein geraten und eher auf Kids ausgelegt. Die Anbindung nach Brixen und Kitzbühel ist problemlos und mit dem Skikeller ist man für den Tag auf'm Berg perfekt gerüstet. Es gibt genügend Parkplätze vor und hinter dem Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder ?️
