The renter can withdraw from the lease in writing. If the lessee withdraws from the rental agreement without naming a new tenant, the following proportionate rents are to be paid as compensation, taking into account the saved expenses, if another rental is not possible: resignation - 45 days before arrival: 20% of the rent - up to 35 days before arrival: 30% of the rental price - up to 21 days before arrival: 40% of the rental price up to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the rental price - Otherwise (later than 14 days before arrival) 100% of the rent. The legal resignation and cancellation options remain unaffected.

The house La Forana is located just 3 minutes walk from the beach of Chiessi, an idyllic small coastal village of the Elban "Costa del Sole". The beach is made of granite pebbles and beautiful, sweeping granite cliffs. The water is crystal clear and also in midsummer extremely clean. Ideal for snorkeling and swimming! Grocery stores and other services are located in nearby Pomonte (2 km). There is a bar and a restaurant in the village. In the western part of the island of Elba, one lived traditionally from viticulture and granite mining. Even today, the small village of Chiessi is surrounded by the old terraces where the wine was grown. The old mule tracks, which served to carry the grapes with donkeys from the top of the mountain to the village, have since been converted into hiking trails. From Chiessi there are some well-marked trails and in about 3 to 4 hours you reach the highest peak of the Tuscan archipelago !: Monte Capanne (1018 m). Chiessi is very sunny and sheltered from north winds and the sun sets directly in the sea!

Getting there

He port of embarkation for Elba is PIOMBINO. From there you can drive to the main port on Elba PORTOFERRAIO (32 km from Chiessi) or to Rio Marina (44 km from Chiessi) or Cavo (50 km from Chiessi). The crossing to Elba takes about 1 hour. The cost for 1 car + 2 passengers varies between about Euro 65 and Euro 95 depending on the season for a one way trip. From Portoferraio to Chiessi you need about 50 minutes. by car. If you arrive by train: the train station of PIOMBINO MARITTIMA is just opposite the pier. From Portoferraio there are regular buses every hour in the summer to Chiessi.

Ich habe es sehr genossen. Die Lage ist perfekt fÃ¼r ruhige Tage in einem kleinen Dorf an der WestkÃ¼ste. Es ist buchstÃ¤blich nur einen Steinwurf vom Meer entfernt. Das FrÃ¼hstÃ¼ck ist erstklassig. Hausgemachte Kuchen und Marmeladen sind kÃ¶stlich. Unglaubliche Ausblicke. Die Zimmer kÃ¶nnen etwas einfach und veraltet wirken, aber das ist wirklich nicht der Ort, an dem Sie Ihre Zeit verbringen werden.

Das Hotel Aurora befindet sich in einem kleinen, schÃ¶nen Dorf namens Chiessi. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer, das wir erhalten haben (und bestellt hatten), war fÃ¼r 4 Personen etwas zu klein. Es gab einen seltsamen Geruch in der Wohnung, mÃ¶glicherweise von der Klimaanlage. Das FrÃ¼hstÃ¼ck war gut und es gab einen schÃ¶nen Blick vom Hotel auf den Strand und das Dorf. Der Kiesstrand war nur 1 Minute zu FuÃŸ vom Hotel entfernt. Das Schlimmste war die Suche nach einem Parkplatz jedes Mal. Ein sehr kleiner Supermarkt befand sich im nÃ¤chsten Dorf.
