Cannobio is the first town just past the Swiss border. It's an idyllic fishing village that has grown a bit in recent years, yet has retained its quintessential Italian charm.
From the holiday apartment, you can embark on beautiful hikes, take a boat to the market in Luino on the opposite shore, or visit the Borromean Islands.
The public beach is only 500 meters away, where you can swim or rent boats, pedal boats, canoes, surfboards, or sailboats! There's also a mini-golf course, tennis courts, skate ramps, and much more, all within walking distance!

Top Lage, vom Balkon aus konnten wir die Promenade und den Blick auf den See bei einem Glas Wein am Abend geniessen.Das Restaurant direkt darunter hat uns gar nicht gestört, super den Wochenmarkt direkt vom Balkon aus beim Aufbau zu beobachten.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, zwei kleine Läden in unmittelbarer Nähe, für größere Einkäufe mit dem Auto alles nicht weit.
Das Auto haben wir sonst stehen gelassen.
Alle sehr hundefreundlich, an den Strand mit ausleihbaren Liegen durften wir nicht mit Hund, aber direkt daneben gab's genug Platz für uns mit dem Hund und auch genügend schattige Plätze.
Die Restaurants direkt an der Uferpromenade und auch im kleinen Stadtzentrum haben ihren Preis, bei einem Restaurant hat der halbe Liter Vino 12 Euro gekostet, da waren wir eben nur 1mal. Essen überall gut.
