The Ausseerland region is part of the Styrian Salzkammergut and has always been impressive due to its imposing beauty. It includes the towns of Bad Aussee, Altaussee, Grundlsee, and Bad Mitterndorf.
Bad Aussee is a spa town and considered the main town of the Ausseerland region. From here, you can take many excursions into the area - for example, to the Dachstein, Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, Gmunden, or Salzburg.
Getting there
By car from the North: A1 to Mondsee – St. Gilgen – Bad Ischl - Bad Goisern – Pötschenpass – Bad Aussee - first town entrance, turn right at the large intersection, about 200 m straight ahead, turn left into Lösslpromenade before the Shell gas station, it is the fourth house on the left side.
By car from the East:
Either A1 to Regau – Gmunden – Bad Ischl – Bad Goisern – Pötschenpass – Bad Aussee or via A2 – Semmering – Bruck an der Mur – Liezen – Stainach – Bad Aussee - at the town entrance, turn left after the Rigips factory, right towards the center, after the Shell gas station turn right into Lösslpromenade - fourth house on the left.
Parking spaces are available in front of the house for guests.
Arrival by train:
It's a 12-15 minute walk from the train station. I am happy to pick you up by car from the Bad Aussee train station if needed.

Vielen Dank! Es freut mich, dass Ihr in Eurer Urlaubswoche so richtig in der Natur auftanken konntet und Euren Aufenthalt im Ausseerland und im Haus Alexandra genossen habt. So soll es sein. Alles Gute & und ich freue mich schon auf ein Wiedersehen im nächsten Jahr! Bis dahin eine gute Zeit.

Ich habe mich im Haus Alexandra sehr wohl gefühlt und habe nichts vermisst. Es liegt nahe dem Zentrum, jedoch in einer ruhigen Lage. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet, und man kann sich auf der kleinen Veranda in die Sonne setzen. Sogar im Winter! Wirklich schön. Ein Glücksgriff :-)
