Ein schönes Cottage mit einem schönen Kamin in perfekter Lage. Die Möbel sind zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das kann man auch als gemütlich bezeichnen.
Toll mit Hunden, aber Vorsicht vor Zecken im Wald während der Saison! Der Garten ist nicht umzäunt, also behaltet eure Hunde im Auge.
Die Badezimmerarmaturen waren nicht sauber. Wir haben das im Nachhinein mit der (ansonsten sehr netten) Besitzerin besprochen, aber sie sagte, sie hätten alles gründlich gereinigt. Die Kanten der Toilettenbrille und die Haare in der Badewanne/im Waschbecken wurden übersehen, also haben wir sie selbst mit Dettol gereinigt.
Trotz dieses Kritikpunkts hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Das Haus ist schön groß und die Lage ist wunderschön. Allerdings ist das Haus selbst in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Die Küche ist sehr alt und die Schränke sind lose. Draußen auf der Terrasse lag überall Glas herum, obwohl unsere drei Kinder und unser Hund barfuß herumliefen. Drinnen war es vor unserer Ankunft sauber gemacht worden, aber es gab viel Staub und Spinnweben. Es gibt keine Dusche, nur eine Badewanne mit Duschkopf. Die Lage ist wunderschön und die Leute sind super freundlich. Aber das Haus selbst ist sehr alt und baufällig.
