The 5 beaches of the village can be reached quickly. They are surrounded by large pine forests. The typical French market at the church is a 3-minute walk away. The village is very French with few foreigners, no hotels, apartment blocks. 51% of the village area is protected, including all the pine forests around the beaches.
The Bordeaux region is climatically part of the South of France ! With a milder climate, it is clearly different from the harsh Brittany.
