We are located in the center of Umhausen and in the heart of the Ötztal valley. From the house, you can reach restaurants, a supermarket, and a bakery within a few minutes' walk.
In winter, the ski resorts Sölden, Hochoetz-Küthai, and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl are easily accessible by car or ski bus. You can start winter hiking and cross-country skiing right from the house.
In the summer, you can start your hikes directly from the house, and the Umhausen swimming lake, as well as the Ötzi Village and the Stuibenfall waterfall, are in the immediate vicinity.
Getting there
From Munich or Salzburg, take the A93 to Kufstein, then continue on the A12 motorway via Innsbruck to Ötztal, followed by the B186 to Umhausen-Niederthai.
Bad Tölz - Achenpass - B181 - Jenbach - A12 motorway - Exit Ötztal - B186 (35km).

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche im Ferienhaus Ban Brösign in Umhausen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet (einschließlich einer großen Küche, Grill und Tischtennisplatte) und bietet ausreichend Platz für Gruppen von bis zu 12 Personen. Die Lage ist ideal, um das Ötztal zu erkunden – insbesondere mit der praktischen Ötztal Sommer Card, die zahlreiche Rabatte und freien Eintritt bietet. Nach unseren Ausflügen konnten wir uns wunderbar entspannen (auf der Terrasse mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf die Berge), und die Gastgeberin war bei Fragen stets hilfsbereit. Sehr empfehlenswert für Familien und Freundesgruppen!
