The Holiday Apartment

This is a water's edge, spacious, brand new and stylishly furnished apartment commanding magnificant views of the historical Malta Grand Harbour.

Accommodation consists of a spacious living room (equipped with TV, DVD, stereo, and internet access) and adjoining dining area. Large doors from the living room and dining area open onto the balcony, offering magnificent 180 degree views of the Malta Grand Harbour.

The open-plan luxury kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances. Sleeping accommodation consists three bedrooms. One master bedroom (double bed) with bathroom en suite, one twin room with 2 single beds and a third bedroom with one single bed. A baby bed (cot) is also available. The apartment is child-friendly, with various necessities such as high-chair.

Location and surroundings

Vittoriosa forms part of "The Three Cities". It is also known as Birgu derived from "Borgo" the Mediterranean term for a coastal village under the shelter of a fort or castle.

It was the headquarters of the Order of the Knights of St John and is home to several historical buildings, among which auberges of the knights and the imposing Inquisitor's Palace, located in the Collachio area of town.

The magnificent marina promenade is also lined by historical buildings, among which the Palace of the Captains, also known as Scamp’s Palace, nowadays hosting the Casino di Venezia and the ex-British naval bakery, nowadays hosting the Maritime Museum. Quaint and elegant wine bars and eateries are to be found along the ancient streets of this city

   Nochmals vielen Dank für diesen tollen und angenehmen Urlaub, den wir in dieser äußerst geräumigen Wohnung verbringen durften. Wir haben uns hier von Anfang an willkommen und wohl gefühlt.
   
   Schon am Flughafen wurden wir empfangen und danach sicher zum Apartment geleitet, welches so gut wie keine Wünsche offen lässt.
   
   Vor allem am Abend, nach dem unsere Kinder im Bett waren saßen wir oft bei einem Glas Wein auf dem Balkon und genossen den wahrhaft traumhaften Blick auf die Hafeneinfahrt von Valletta und die historische Umgebung. Gute Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe am Yachthafen auf der anderen Seite des Hauses.
   
   Sicherlich werden wir eines Tages zurückkehren!

   Eine sehr großzügige Wohnung mit viel Platz, komplettem Zubehör und reichlich Handtüchern ! Toller Ausblick vom großen Balkon auf die Hafeneinfahrt von La Valetta über den ruhigen Kalkara Creek. Auf der Rückseite des neu errichteten Gebäudes der Yachthafen an der Vittoriosa Waterfront mit einigen netten Restaurants und Abfahrt der kleinen Wassertaxis nach La Valetta (4 EUR pro Person). Ideal für einen ruhigen Urlaub in einem kleinen, gepflegten, ursprünlichen Örtchen. Mit Leihwagen oder von der nahe gelegenen Bushaltestelle (49 cents pro Fahrt!) Erkundungen der ganzen Insel möglich.

   Hier gibt es wirklich "rooms with a view"! Der Blick ist großartig, die Lage des Apartments sehr zentral und dennoch ruhig, da es in einer nur mit Plakette zugänglichen Straße direkt an der Marina von Vittoriosa liegt.Die Einrichtung entspricht den Bildern und die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit.

   Wir haben 10 wunderschöne Tage in Malta verbracht. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön gelegen, sehr sauber, bietet eine tolle Aussicht und viel Platz! Wir empfehlen sie gerne weiter.

   We’ve had a wonderful and relaxing time on Malta.
   And we felt at home right away at the apartment. Luxury with a lot of room.
   From the balcony you can overlook the Grand Harbour. And nearby you find some nice restaurants.
