De Dijkwachter	The vacation rental Our house, De Dijkwachter, in the 5 star category, is very homey and comfortable. The kitchen is modern, with a microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator-freezer. The living room is very pleasant, with a fireplace, infloor heating and patio doors. We provide wireless internet access for our guests – and of course, a CD player, TV and VCR with a selection of movies. On the second floor are two bedrooms with two single beds apiece and a crib, a bathroom with a shower and tub, and a separate toilet and washing machine. There are some very nice toys and playground equipment for your children. We also have rabbits and other animals.
Beach for horses	The surrounding area De Dijkwachter has a nice yard and the holiday home is situated in the middle of the island of Ameland on the sea. Ameland, a beautiful island with lovely beaches and dunes and a nature reserve, quaint villages and tourist attractions, is ideal for taking walks and riding bikes. The island’s meadows, woods, and fine sandy beaches offer plenty of enjoyment. There is a pony and horse manege and rides in the woods and on the beach are possible.
Beach	Activities You may bring your own horse to De Dijkwachter. On Amerland, you can enjoy a shrimping trip, a walk on the mud flats at low tide, a hike on the beach, sightseeing flights, parachuting, inline skating, etc. Bike rental, biking, bowling, fishing, golf, gym, hang-gliding, hiking, horse-back riding, jogging, miniature golf, open-air pool, swimming, tennis, water sports, windsurfing
