   Eine Feld-, Wald- und Wiesenlandschaft wie aus dem Bilderbuch und mittendrin ein Anwesen mit wunderbar historischem Flair, dessen Aufenthaltsräume, Gastzimmer und Ferienwohnungen behutsam an den heutigen Komfortbedarf angepasst wurden und werden.
   
   Hier gibt es alles, was dem Gemüt eines gestressten Großstadtbewohners gut tut: freundliche Menschen, gelassene Tiere, leckeres, deftiges Essen, herrliche Ausblicke in die Natur ringsherum, gemütliche Ecken zum Lesen, Spielen, Plaudern, Entspannen, abgasfreie frische Luft und bei alledem auch viel Abwechslung.
   
   Neben den Festen auf dem Rittergut selbst sind auch zahlreiche Burgen und Schlösser (z. B. Burg Ranis, Leuchtenburg, Schloss Burgk) und interessante Städte (Weimar, Erfurt, Dresden) einen Besuch wert. Wer einmal dort war, kommt wieder!

   Wir haben einen super schönen Urlaub auf dem Gut verbracht. Es hat einfach alles gestimmt-von der Unterkunft ,bis zur lieben Bewirtung (der Kuchen war wirklich immer spitze!).Da die Umgebung sehr viel zu bieten hat,kann man sein Auto gut mal für Tage auf dem Parkplatz stehen lassen.
   Von uns gibt es einen Daumen hoch und wir werden bestimmt noch einmal wiederkommen.

   Unsere Erwartungen ( Oma, Opa, Tochter, Sohn und 2 Enkel (6+11) in das Rittergut Positz wurden weit übertroffen. Die Gastfreundschaft von Stefan und Kristin, der feine Sinn für die Erhaltung und sinnvolle, lebendige Nutzung der historischen Bausubstanz
   sind beeindruckend. Wir haben schnell Kontakt zu den anderen Gästen gefunden, unseren "Stadt-Enkeln" konnte ich endlich mit Bogenschießen, Blasrohr- und Weidenpfeifchen-Schnitzen oder Nachtwanderungen durch die schöne Umgebung imponieren und ein bißchen von meiner Jugend zurückholen.
   Wir werden in jedem Fall wiederkommen - eine Woche war viel zu kurz, zumal Thüringen auch sonst viel zu bieten hat.

   Our family visited Manor Positz in November '06, and I cannot say enough about it. Recently renovated in a truly romantic style, the apartments are simply lovely, with three foot deep window wells and cozy rooms. The family that operates this is extremely friendly and helpful with information about the area. But you don't have to go far - there are woods and gorgeous vistas right there. We have three kids, and all of us had a fabulous time.

   Aufenthalt im Mai 2006.
   Wenn man sich mit der Historie und dem höchst beachtlichen Aufbauwerk von Stefan Schwarzer/ Kristin Unglaub und ihren Helfern befasst hat, weiß man - wie viel Mut, Kraft und Schweiß dieses immer noch wachsende Anwesen gekostet hat.
   Wer´s romantisch liebt, kommt hier auf seine Kosten und wird neugierig auf einen nächsten Aufenthalt.
   Unbedingt beachtenswert: Das mittelalterliche Wirtshaus und die kulinarische Kunst des Mundschenks Antonius.
