The apartment has been recently renovated. There are 2 bedrooms, one is in the mezzanine in the kitchen. One bed is 1,60 m large and the one in the mezzanine is 1,40 m large. The kitchen is well equipped with toaster and a water kettle. There is a modern bathroom and a living/dining room.
There is a washing mashine, too. In winter you can heat the flat. There is aircondition for the summer months.
Ortigia and the whole province of Syracuse has lots of interesting places to visit. You can visit Catania, Mount Etna and Taormina or Scicli, Ragusa and Modica etc.

Several nature reserves with hiking and bathing facilities.
The flat is only a few steps from the Temples of Apollo away. Parking is no problem. There is a parking place in about 500 m distance and lots of possibilities in the surroundings.
There is a bathing facility even in the old town. There are plateaus from June to October. But you can also drive to the several beaches in the surroundings. The southeast is famous for its baroque towns.
Syracuse is the perfect place to undertake trips to the several nature reserves (Cava Grande, Vendicari, Pantalica, Anapo-Valley e.g.) in the surroundings and lots of interesting towns as Noto, Palazzolo A., Caltagirone etc.
From Catania airport to Siracusa, exit Siracusa, then drive in direction to Ortigia
